How product shipping, local services, and returns work at Birth Perceptions.
Product Shipping
Sacred Skin products, teas, and ritual retail items ship nationwide from Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. Orders are prepared with care and typically ship within 3–5 business days; you’ll receive tracking once your order is on its way. Made-to-order items may require additional preparation time, which we’ll communicate at checkout or by email.
Sacred Recovery Broths & Postpartum Kimchi
Broths, kimchi, and other fresh nourishment items are small-batch and request-to-book rather than available through standard checkout. Availability is primarily local to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with pickup or delivery, timing, spice preference, and dietary needs confirmed with you before your order is approved. These items are not shipped nationwide.
Local Services
Placenta encapsulation, postpartum doula care, Mother’s Blessing ceremonies, Bengkung belly binding, and ritual services are provided locally throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and are scheduled through a private consultation rather than shipped. Placenta services follow a pickup-and-processing model with details confirmed at booking.
Returns & Exchanges
For the health and safety of every family, skincare, teas, broths, kimchi, recovery foods, encapsulated placenta, and other perishable or personal-care items cannot be returned or exchanged once they have shipped, been delivered, or been prepared. This is standard practice for wellness and consumable products and protects the integrity of what reaches each mother.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, please email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and your order number. We will make it right with a replacement or resolution — your satisfaction and safety matter to us.
Placenta Service Cancellations
Because placenta services involve reserved time, preparation, and the handling of your own biological material, a 50% non-refundable deposit is collected after consultation and service confirmation, and fees become non-refundable once processing has begun. Placenta pickup or delivery requested without a completed contract is subject to a $50 last-minute service fee. Full terms are outlined in your service agreement at booking.
